Jog Roller: the receiver has a top-mounted Jog Roller control, which is used to select channels, menu items and settings, or scroll the stored text information. The Jog Roller moves forward and backward for scrolling through channels and menu options, and presses down to execute the commands.
Display: blue two-line backlit LCD shows 20 characters per line. It can display the channel number, channel name, artist name or feature, song or program title, additional information, time/date, as well as operating menu information.
Remote Sensor: IR Window for receiving commands from included wireless remote control
DSPL/BACK: in Display mode, it cycles through the 3 display modes in the Tuned Channel Display. In Menu mode, it returns to previous menu display.
Presets (1-5): the preset buttons allow you to store and recall preset channels.
Memo: allows you to store up to 10 sets of Tuned Channel information.
Cradle Release Buttons: by pressing both buttons simultaneously, the receiver can be removed from the cradle.
Line Output: stereo female mini-jack for connecting the included Car Connecting Pack (cassette adapter) or an auxiliary male mini-plug cable.
Antenna Sat/Antenna Ter: dual FAKRA-type SMB connections for the XM Antenna cable's "SAT" and "TER" plugs.
DC Input: this is used for the supplied cigarette lighter adapter or for an AC adapter from the home accessory kit.
Mounting: The mounting plate is designed to be installed using a self-adhesive backing and five self-tapping screws (included). The plate is 3.9" wide and 3.7" deep with 8 bendable tabs to contour to the shape of the mounting surface. Once the mounting plate is installed, the car cradle can be bolted to the mounting plate and the power, signal, and antenna cables can be connected. After the car cradle is in place, the receiver slides into the cradle and locks into place. The car cradle can be swiveled in all directions on a ball joint up to a 15-degree angle. Overall dimensions of receiver/car cradle/mounting plate assembly: 4.1" wide, 2.6" high and 5.8" deep.
