DIRECT TV satellite TV gives you unsurpassed control over what your children can watch on TV. The powerful "Locks and Limits" feature provides numerous options for controlling your child’s access to the many programming options available through DIRECTV. These options include:
- Setting limited viewing times
- Allowing viewing based on MPAA ratings or block specific movies
- Establishing spending limits on pay per view
- Lock out entire channels
Using the DIRECTV’s Locks and Limits feature is effortless. By selecting "Profiles" from the "menu" button, you will see your various options including "Rating Limit," "Lock User," "Viewing Hours" or "Spending Limit." Once you select an option simply follow the on-screen directions (note: options vary by receiver). Once you controls are in place, you can access any of the programming that you want to watch by entering your secret personal identification (PIN) number.
