HughesNet Satellite Internet Subscribers Grow to 300,000

| Hughes Network Systems has reported that the number of HughesNet small business and residential satellite internet subscribers grew to 300,000 during the second quarter of 2006, representing a 19% overall increase as compared to the same period in 2005. Hughes said that the company averaged more than 10,000 new subscribers a month during the first half of 2006. HughesNet is formerly known as DIRECWAY. |
