| Sirius Satellite Radio, a provider of Satellite Radio services, and Volvo Cars of North America, a unit of Volvo Car Corp. of Gothenburg, Sweden recently announced that Volvo will offer Sirius Satellite Radios as a factory installed option beginning with the 2007 model year to be released soon.
Volvo plans to offer factory installed Sirius Satellite Radios in the following models:
- Volvo S40
- Volvo V50
- Volvo C70
- Volvo S80
Each Satellite Radio in the VS40, V50, and C70 would cost around $295 including a pre-paid six-month subscription. The All New Volvo S80, to be introduced later, would also come with a Sirius Satellite Radio and with a six-month pre-paid subscription, but the price is yet to be announced. |
